July Team Player Highlight
At Storey, we can be competitive. Against other companies, on the road, with our peers when tracking miles. Competition is deemed “good for business.” With that respect, we appreciate our drivers going over and above to meet expectations, but at times, competition goes out the window when someone is in need.
David and Janet Bolen joined Storey this year as team drivers. This past month, the Bolens were on their way back from a drop off in Vegas when they heard that a fellow Storey driver had a maintenance issue in Arizona and wasn't able to make their drop off. Without complaint or hesitation, the Bolens drove to meet the teammate and helped transfer the load into their trailer and completed the job.
The Bolen’s positive attitude and flexibility was really impressive. They exhibited what being part of the Storey family truly means. As a new driver, you take the job for the personal benefit, but not long into it, you see how much more the relationship with other drivers and the staff really matters.
