October Team Player Highlight
A break in consistency can oftentimes end with a meltdown of frustration. Regular routes can be detoured, freight can be delayed, traffic can cause a neverending standstill. Veteran drivers like Rod and Donna Owens, know that plans often change and adapting is the only way to move forward.
The Owens have driven for Storey since 2009. They look forward to their California run each week but have learned that embracing changes in their schedule with a positive attitude is the only way to succeed. Recently they were postponed with a backhaul due to some unforeseen circumstances. They remained patient and worked through it without complaint. The Owens’ willingness to adjust expectations and work through the changes is what makes them stand out as this month’s Team Player.
